Emily is a queer writer and stage manager from Sydney, Australia. She is the creator and co-writer of Bonny & Read a queer folk musical, developed with co-writer Aiden Smith through Shopfront Arts Co-Op’s Artslab Residency in 2023/24. It was featured in the Hayes Theatre New Work Festival (2025) and opened in October 2025 at Qtopia Sydney with multiple sold out shows.

Her stage management credits include Stage Manager: Werkaholics (2025) Belvoir Downstairs 25a, Women of the Riverina (2024) KXT on Broadway. Assistant Stage Manager: Pirates of Penzance: The Slave of Duty (2025) Hayes Theatre Tour. With secondments in the rehearsal period of Pirates of Penzance (2025) Hayes Theatre and Straight Panic (2026) at Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP).  

She has a passion for engaging in youth arts and is a former member of the Griffin Ambassadors Program (2022) and is a current member of the Youth Advisory Board for the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) having also been a member in 2023 & 2024.
